We are pleased to announce that our 2016 project season ended with with 21 homes constructed; 15 of which have already been occupied by families in their respective communities.
Our 2017 project season will include an additional 15 Home Mortgage Program homes in these communities: Chefornak, Hooper Bay, Kipnuk, Napakiak, Oscarville, Toksook Bay, Tununak, and Umkumiut.

The AVCP Regional Housing Authority (RHA) was granted a US Dept. of Housing and Urban Development and Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) Voucher Demonstration Grant in 2016.
The purpose of the program is to assist HUD and VA in finding rental homes for up to 20 homeless Native American Veterans in the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta region or AVCP Region of Alaska.
