AVCP-RHA Continues Outreach Efforts to Enhance Housing Infrastructure in the Y-K Delta

The Association of Village Council Presidents Regional Housing Authority (AVCP-RHA) remains dedicated to actively engaging with communities across the Yukon-Kuskokwim (Y-K) Delta to address critical housing needs. As part of our ongoing commitment, AVCP-RHA recently traveled to Pilot Station to hear directly from tribal leaders.

During the visit, AVCP-RHA team members had the opportunity to connect with the Pilot Station Tribe, thanks to the efforts of Martin Kelly, who coordinated and hosted a productive meeting. This gathering allowed for meaningful discussions about the housing needs in the area, helping to shape future housing development plans. In addition, AVCP-RHA planners explored potential lots for future housing construction, marking a significant step forward in addressing local housing infrastructure.

“We are incredibly grateful to Martin Kelly and the entire community of Pilot Station for their warm hospitality and for sharing their insights with us. This trip is part of our broader mission to strengthen our partnerships with Y-K Delta communities and ensure that our housing solutions meet the unique needs of each village.” – President/CEO Peter Evon

AVCP-RHA continues to prioritize direct engagement with local tribes and residents as we work to develop sustainable, culturally relevant housing solutions. We look forward to building on the progress made in Pilot Station and collaborating closely with the community to meet their housing needs.
